LOGIN

Tap Online button of the top menubar to bring up the user interface. You need a live network connection to get to this page.

Touch Back button on the bottom of the screen when you want to go back to your game table. Your online status does not change.

Login to our web service by tapping the Login button (see picture). You can change your login name and password here by touching the text field. Hit the Done button to hide the keyboard. New creditentials will be saved.

Your login name must contain at least 3 letters. Invalid characters are removed.

FIND YOUR OPPONENT

We use your twitter account to identify you during online games. If you have a profile photo, we download it. Please note the three green/yellow/red globes under the profile image.

The first becomes green when we have found your twitter account. The second becomes green when our web services register you as online gamer and open an account for you by giving you a sign-up bonus of 100 points. The third becomes green when you have an opponent and a shared table to be solved.

Enter your friend's twitter name and tap the Find button to search for him/her.

OPEN GAME SESSION

You can follow the search process. Pay attention to the status messages on the bottom of the screen and the changes of icons under the profile image.

Check and retype your friend's twitter name and tap Find button again when we have not found his/her profile. The first "globe" must be green to continue.

Second globe is red when your friend has never logged in to our services. You must always wait for your opponent to get through the login process. Recheck the name again. You may find a twittie who does not even have a mobile phone.

MASTER OF THE GAME

When we can identify your friend's twitter profile and we can see that he/she is a registered sudoku player, we open a game session for both of you. Same session number is assigned to you.

When your cellular lost its network access, we give you the option to rejoin your session within 60 minutes. This is why you can use the session (Find/Close) and new game table (Puzzle) functions to syncronise your game connection.

The first user of the session is the master of the game. His/her table settings, such as vario, matrix and level of difficulty are distributed among the clients.

START TO SOLVE THE PUZZLE

The second player (client) is likely ready to play immediately after the login while the master should recheck the friend's presence. In this case tap the 'Puzzle' button to see your friend's status.

Both of you receive session messages right after the data connection is established among players.

Tap the textbox next to the Send button when you want to edit your customized message. After touching the keyboard's Done button you can Send your text.

Tap the Play button to start to solve the puzzle. All players get the same gametable.

PLAY

During online games:
- Puzzle properties are set by Master
- Tips, Cheat and Options functions are disabled
- Gametimer starts at 00:00
- Top status bar shows your opponent's name and network info: live data connection and login status
- Check and Retry functions are enabled

You can tap the Online button at any time. Touch the 'Back' button there to bounce back.

PUZZLE IS SOLVED

When you have solved the puzzle our congratulation message pops up. At the very same time in the background:

- we stop the the game timer,
- save your table and game time,
- score your solution by adding points to your record,
- recalculate your position on the rank list, and
- inform other players about your scores.

You do not race against start time - ie. when to tap Play button, but compete with game time - ie. how long does it take you to solve the puzzle.

SCORES AND RANK LIST

Points are based on the game time, vario and matrix settings, and level of difficulty. Varios of letters and images give you bonus points. Reduced matrix sizes does not help you gain points over traditional 9x9 sudoku.

When you are the winner you have to wait for your friend to finish his/her own table. You may have a minute or two to send a friendly reminder to him/her. We prepared one.

Your friend's game progress is visible through session messages.

You can skip a table. In this case you loose some points.

NEW PUZZLE OR CLOSE THE SESSION

Practically you can play unlimited number of puzzles in a session. Tap Puzzle to generate a new table following Master's actual settings. The Master can change the vario and matrix between two games. Let it be a surprise.

See your friends messages and solve the table after you tapped the Play button. This button becomes visible when the new puzzle has been successfully distributed among players.

Tap Close button to quit from the session.

You may want to find a new friend to play with. Change the text field and touch Find to create another session with a different player.

Please note that Logout automatically closes sessions.
